Trey Stiles has focused his entire legal career on helping injured people and surviving families fight against big corporations and those who caused serious personal injuries and death to innocent victims. Trey currently handles a wide range of civil litigation matters from personal injury to commercial litigation. He focuses primarily on maritime, personal injury and wrongful death cases, but has seen a rise in his commercial litigation practice since joining the firm in the summer of 2010. He is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubbell’s peer review rating system meaning his peers consider him to have very high to preeminent legal ability and high ethics.
While in law school Trey clerked for a highly successful law firm handling primarily personal injury and wrongful death cases. He progressed from law clerk to associate and ultimately partner before leaving to join Simon Herbert & McClelland after seventeen years at one firm.
Trey is licensed to practice in all courts in the state of Texas including all four federal districts. He has handled cases around the country appearing in various jurisdictions pro hac vice.
Trey graduated from The University of Texas in 1990 with a B.B.A in finance. He graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 1993 where, among his accomplishments, he served as Historian of the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity.
Trey is very active in his church and community. He recently completed five years of service on the St.Mark’s Episcopal School Board of Trustees including a final year as Chairman of the Board. He donates much of his spare time coaching and assisting with Little League and other youth sports. Trey is married to Ruth Ann Stiles. They have two boys, David (11) and Joseph (8) that keep them very busy.
